What can I help with?
No matter what condition you are experiencing, I will always take my time to understand who you are as a person aside from the conditions you are living with. There is so much more to your well-being than just the conditions you are experiencing.

We experience life through our nervous system and our mood/mindset. This area of well-being must be supported for our nervous system to be able to adapt well to inevitable stressors in life.
Low mood, nervous system dysregulation, and/or anxiety can have a major impact on quality of life, and can prevent you from doing the things you enjoy.
Naturopathic support in this area involves simple but nourishing nutrition and adaptable lifestyle techniques to support nervous system and brain function. Supplementation and herbal medicine can also be useful here for both short-term relief and long term prevention. But most of all, it involves understanding who you are as a person and what personally works best for you to feel happier and more regulated.

Burnout often creeps up on us slowly and then comes out of nowhere. It can begin with one area of our life, and slowly spill out into other aspects, leaving us feeling drained and depleted.
Feeling chronically exhausted and overwhelmed is not normal, and you do not have to live this way.
My approach to recovering from burnout focuses on replenishing the body with nutrients, and prioritising rest and nervous system regulation. Herbal medicines that support mood, sleep, energy and nervous system function can also be useful here. This is truly dependent on your history and what feels right for you as you gain your vitality back - which is what we can work on, together.
-
Skin concerns can be a reflection of compromised digestive and immune health, so finding the root cause of concerns like acne and eczema is important for preventing future flare-ups.
Support in this area can require both internal and topical support for full wrap-around care.
Naturopathic care also focuses on the emotional and social impacts that skin concerns can have - are they causing you stress? Are they impacting your ability to socialise? These are important questions to ask to ensure other areas of well-being are being cared for as well.
-
Have you got a health goal that you’d like to achieve, but don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you have tried everything to achieve it, but aren’t sure what to do next?
Having someone to guide you along the way can be transformative in actually achieving your goal, and sustaining it.
My approach focuses on making small steps that accumulate to big changes over time, in a non-judgemental way. Not only do I want to see you achieve your goals, but I want to show you how they can be achieved through self-compassion rather than punishment.ion

Our gut health is connected to many other aspects of our well-being, including mood, immunity, hormone function, and oral and skin health.
Symptoms like bloating, discomfort, gas/flatulence, nausea, and/or diarrhoea/constipation are not normal to experience on a regular basis.
If you are experiencing digestive concerns, we will do a deep-dive into your symptoms, your diet/lifestyle and health history to figure out what may be impacting your digestion, and what changes you can make to feel your best again.

The journey of conceiving and growing a baby, and then supporting you and your family post-partum is something truly special.
Support in this area focuses on nutrition, lifestyle, social relationships, and emotional health across the span of preparing to conceive, to postpartum nourishment.
Supplements with fertility and pregnancy specific ingedients at therapeutic doses are also applied here, due to the increased demand on nutrients within the body, not only to support a pregnancy, but also for breast-feeding and post-partum support while you recover and give life to your new addition.
Olivia Murrell
Welcome - I’m Olivia, a qualified naturopath and medical herbalist with a strong focus on simple but impactful guidance to bring you back to vitality.
BA (Psychology), BNatMedHerb
“Our well-being is the sum of many parts - we can work together to support the different parts of your health to promote greater overall vitality.”
After completing a psychology degree and post-graduate papers in research analysis, I became inspired to continue studying naturopathy and herbal medicine to be able to support those with their health from a holistic and evidence-informed approach. I prioritise optimising nutrition and lifestyle changes, and then utilise supplementation and herbal medicine if it is suitable for the person.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and papers in post-graduate research analysis
Bachelor of Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine (also the recipient of the Dave Duggan award for scholarly excellence and the exceptional ability to meet clients where they are at).
Experience:
Hosted a sold-out event ‘Menstrual Moodies’ discussing mood changes throughout the menstrual cycle and how nutrition/lifestyle/herbs can support them.
Presented to workplaces on how to support hormone health and vitality while striving for success in the workplace.
“It’s so important for women to be educated about their cycle and hormones - something that is unfortunately missed in schools. I would love to see more educational events from you relating to cycles and other aspects of women’s health, to help more women feel empowered throughout their cycle rather than being controlled by it! Thank you 🥰”

Wellness trends come and go, but the foundations are forever ❀
We have all seen the wellness fads and trends come and go - do you know what doesn’t though? The need for things like good sleep and balanced nutrition. These foundations are the timeless and necessary things that truly move the needle when it comes to feeling vital. We need these foundations to thrive daily.
What are the foundations of health?
Good quality sleep
Adequate hydration
Nutrition (eating for fuel, medicine and joy)
Time spent in nature and sunlight
Spiritual well-being (living in alignment with your life purpose and values)
Self-compassion and positive self-talk
Stress management
Exercise and moving your body
Social connection
During your consultation, we will focus on prioritising how these foundational aspects of health can be optimised in a way that feels right for you so you get to enjoy the process of nourishing your body. This will also be specifically tailored to support the life stage you are in, or any conditions you are experiencing.

Critical thinking and analysis of both traditional and modern information is imperative to me. The practices, products and health plans I create are informed by evidence and research, while acknowledging the traditional aspect of herbal medicine.
-
I am committed to on-going education and building on my knowledge base. I place importance on remaining curious and continuing to educate myself through consistent research and professional development.
I also place importance on passing this education on to my community about the value, art, and science of nutrition and lifestyle therapies.
-
I am to inspire my clients to be proactive about their health, and to feel inspired to take care of their well-being daily.
Vitality is yours for the taking, you can step into momentum by making small but sustainable health changes every day.
-
Creating a health-promoting lifestyle and better quality of life is my key goal in supporting clients. This involves improving mindset towards health, encouraging you to enjoy taking care of your well-being, and using evidence-informed therapies to support your wellness daily.
-
I believe “natural therapies” like sleep, nutrition, exercise, sunlight and time in nature, are complementary to a balanced and vital lifestyle. Our well-being is a sum of many parts, and these aspects all complement each other.
I also believe in the safe and ethical use of natural health therapies, including herbal medicines and supplements. All products/brands I prescribe or recommend have been researched by me to ensure high-quality ingredients and evidence behind the formulation.
I do not condone miracle cures or health fads, nor do I agree with making extreme claims or claiming to cure.
-
If we all take steps to feel our best, this can inspire another to feel their best too. If one person can spread their goodness and vitality to another, that makes for a more vital and peaceful world.
Being in the business of helping others isn’t something I take lightly, and I am honoured to support people with their health. Having strong values guides me towards always prioritising ethics and evidence-informed practice. In full transparency, these are my values I practice by.
Values for Vitality.
